More receptors are found at key places. The front of your tongue can taste MORE sweet/bitter then the back and etc. to prove this just try a glass of grapefruit juice with a straw. Let none of the juice hit the tip of your tongue, only the back and down your throat. Next take a sip without the straw. You will see the overwhelming bitter taste comes from the tip of your tongue. It is wrong however to say that parts of your tongue can not taste sweet or salty at all. Also lol wine tasting as a serious hobby.
